Mr. Kohl, in your Bavarian home country, you could not really go to the beach after work, right?

No, the most I could hope for was a trip to the open-air pool.

Is the pleasant climate the only reason why moving to SELLBYTEL Singular in Barcelona has paid off?

Of course not, although I have to admit that a certain thirst for adventure and a bit of wanderlust played a decisive factor in my application. But I could name many other reasons as well.

Namely?

I find the flat management structure and the direct, personal contact with SELLBYTEL’s management absolutely remarkable. Every door is open here – figuratively as well as literally.

What kind of effect does that have on careers?

There are simply more opportunities. As a lawyer with state certification, joining SELLTBYTEL was a career change for me. Despite that, I was able to develop professionally in a short amount of time. And even today I have the feeling that I learn something new every day.

In the meantime, as operations manager you are yourself in a leadership position…

Yes, but in this role I am also constantly learning.
