Competitive War room team will proactively engage on competitive deals and help retain and gain Cisco market share from competition.
The Competitive War Room is a team that helps the Cisco sales team position and Cisco Products against the competition, provides competitive intelligence data and helps the leadership team understand the competitive strategy

 Your main responsibilities
  • Enable the sales teams to position Cisco products, its features and value to the customer and be able to competitively differentiate our solution in order to gain market share
  • Support competitive engagements through field sales and respective partner organizations
  • Drive a higher win rate when engaged with positive margin impact
  • Identify and mitigate competitor’s tactics
  • Work closely with Business Experts (BE) and Cross Functional teams to find and eliminate Cisco’s competitive gaps
  • Be seen as the Channels Program and Technology Leaders of the Global War Room
  • Closely monitor and understand competitor’s strategies
  • Work closely with the Global War Room Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 team members to lead them on leveraging the latest product roadmap and competitive problem solving logic
  • In addition, just as important, is the ability to identify and eliminate gaps that prevent Cisco from winning by working with the BE (content, features, pricing strategies etc.)

Our profile of preference

  • Excellent level of English both written and spoken
  • Experience with IT channel sales a preferred
  • Two to four years of related technical sales experience
  • Knowledge of Tableau and smart sheets
  • Salesforce;
  • Excellent (not just strong) communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive thinking and a “can-do” mentality
  • Ability to work independently and think out of the box
