More than ten years of experience in sales and a postgraduate degree in Business Management: that’s where our colleague Ines from Poland once started. The 37 year old joined SELLBYTEL in June 2012 and has since taken a number of interesting roles: she went from being a Supervisor, to Quality Manager and finally Project Manager. In this interview she tells us all about her career with SELLBYTEL.
Ines, please tell us more about your time with SELLBYTEL.
Sure. I started in June 2012 as a Supervisor for a worldwide leading IT producer. We started as a small team and soon expanded to over 200 people. In January 2014, I was promoted to Quality Manager, where I led and developed a Quality Team of almost 20 people. In September 2016, I received the offer to become Project Manager for our jewelry client. It was amazing and exciting news but it was also difficult to leave my old team behind. But fortunately my new team compensates for it by being super knowledgeable, positive and open to changes and I’m really happy to be part of it!
And what does your current role exactly involve?
I manage a customer service team of 40 people. The project is still in the implementation phase, so I design and coordinate reports, tools, work distribution, and so on.
What do you enjoy most about your position?
I enjoy working directly with the client and being in touch with different departments, like IT, Quality and HR. I appreciate their efforts and they have been extremely helpful during the current project implementation. I’m also lucky to get huge support from experienced people, including our Team Leaders. I am a big fan of Swarovski products by the way, which makes my daily tasks even more interesting!
Do you have any tips for people looking for a similar career path within the company?
Always give 200%, be proactive, think outside the box and be open-minded.
In your opinion, what makes SELLBYTEL a special employer?
SELLBYTEL allows you to grow and develop yourself as a professional. There are always new challenges and opportunities coming your way. The close contact with other departments and projects gives you a bunch of different perspectives on how to work and develop in your role.
And finally, how do you like to spend your free time?
I really enjoy spending time with my son outdoors, horseback riding and reading.
