She has been with the SELLBYTEL Group for ten years and still knows how to develop her career further. Our colleague Isabel from Majorca, Spain, started with SELLBYTEL after she graduated from University in 2006. Since then she has successfully developed her career bit by bit. In this interview the 32 year old tells us about her time with SELLBYTEL.
Isabel, tell us some more about your last ten years with SELLBYTEL.
Well, I started with SELLBYTEL in 2006 as a Customer Service Advisor for a service project. Shortly after I became Coordinator for the same project, and in 2009 I became Project Supervisor for a Spanish investment company. In 2016 I eventually got promoted to Program Manager for the named projects.
And what does this role look like in practice?
My main task is to achieve our client’s goals without losing sight of my team’s performance and meeting the high quality standards of SELLBYTEL – both internally and externally.
What do you find most interesting about your position?
Knowing that the client appreciates our opinion and suggestions is really the greatest satisfaction for me. I just enjoy building and maintaining a trustful relationship with the partner. This is owed to the work of many people, not just mine!
Do you have any tips for people who want a similar career within the company?
Listen, watch and learn! And when you think you know enough, listen, watch and learn again. Also show some interest in the work of other departments. This will give you many different insights into how creativity can be used at work.
And finally, how do you like to spend your free time?
Whenever I get the chance, I like to spend time with my family and friends back home in Majorca. I love traveling and having a good read late at night.
