Webhelp takes part in the national public art trail in Scotland
Three months ago, the first ever national public art trail was launched in Scotland – the Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail. Oor Wullie is an iconic Scottish comic character, famous for fighting boredom and being a passionate advocate for children rights, mostly depicted sitting on an upturned bucket. In this image, 200 person-sized sculptures were placed across five host cities in Scotland.
Webhelp had great pleasure supporting this event and sponsored their very own Oor Wullie statue ‘Oor Charles’ and helped raise awareness of the public art project by holding activities to celebrate the themed weeks with the help of colleagues and the community.
However, the trail is coming to an end, and as the preparation of the final farewell to all the Oor Wullie’s continues, we look back on some of our highlights over the past few months.
